Deadline
Entries must be postmarked or received by

30th November 2008.

To encourage, inspire and motivate students across all age group, to promote literacy and encourage a greater understanding of one's self through the process of writing.

Aaspirations Publishing Inc. encourages all student writers in Canada to explore their talents by sending in new, untried work as an entry for children's writing/juvenile writing. Submitted work will be read by professionals - writers, editors, booksellers, librarians or teachers and may win the entrant a prize and a publishing contract.
Read the Rules Below

The Write Contest is open to all students in the grades 3-6, 7-9, 10-12. Students may submit original, currently unsubmitted, unpublished and unaccepted work in English, typed or word-processed, single-sided, double-spaced, 8 1/2 x 11 (or A4), pages numbered, and not stapled.

To assure blind judging, include entries on a SEPARATE cover page giving your name/ (First name and first initial of last name) school's name and address/ telephone, title(s), date of entry, brief literary bio and accurate word count. The entrant may stipulate on the cover page that the entry includes "First Canadian Rights" up to the proposed date of the publication. Title only on each page.

No revisions are permitted after submission. Entries may be submitted by individual students only: If it is a class entry it may be sent in separately but will not be accepted as an ‘individual entrant' and therefore will not be able to win any prizes. However an exceptional class entry may be considered for publication and a prize if more than one class sends in entries.
